Bio
Maisaa (Mai) was called to the bar in 2009 and practiced in Toronto and the GTA for several years before settling in London with her family. She earned a Bachelor (Honours) degree in Biology with a Minor in Sociology from McMaster University, before obtaining her law degree from the University of Windsor.
While at law school, Mai assisted marginalized members of the community in administrative, criminal and family law matters at several community legal clinics. After articling at a leading full-service law firm in Hamilton, she practiced at a family law firm in Mississauga, where she independently managed her own cases and gained valuable experience in litigation as well as in mediation. Subsequently, at Legal Aid Ontario, Mai honed her strong advocacy skills through regular representation in criminal proceedings, eventually broadening her role to include family law advice.
Mai is pleased to have made London her home and is committed to providing dedicated legal services to its residents. Outside of law, Mai enjoys culinary adventures with her daughters, family road trips, and pursuing her passion for languages, including French (in support of her children's Francophone education) and improving her knowledge and fluency in Arabic.
