Bio

Rebecca was called to the bar in 2020 and practiced at a small family law office in London before joining Family Law Group in 2025. Rebecca grew up splitting her time between the Eastern Townships of Quebec, and Montreal, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Sociology before graduating from McGill University’s transsystemic law program with degrees in both civil and common law. Rebecca is fluently bilingual. Elle est ravie d’offrir ses services dans les deux langues officelles.

While at law school, Rebecca edited and managed the journal Contours: Voices of Women in Law, served as a tutorial leader for second year legal ethics, volunteered with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, and competed in the Gale Cup moot. Prior to articling with Legal Aid Ontario in Ottawa in the areas of family, criminal, and refugee law, Rebecca worked and volunteered in the community including at a family resource centre, and with community housing in Montreal. Drawing from her experience in community work, Rebecca prioritizes practical and common-sense approaches to client issues both inside and outside the courtroom.

Outside of work, when she cannot be on a mountain snowboarding, or on a beach swimming, Rebecca enjoys the best of county living with her dogs, and working on her next cooking, baking, breadmaking, or crochet project.

TESTIMONIAL

There was no doubt in my mind that that was the law firm that I wanted to go with. I was very confident signing that contract to have them represent me.
